Graveside services for former Greybull resident Loise M. Moore of Medford, Ore., will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell today (Thursday, March 22) at 2 p.m. Loise, 92, died in Medford March 16.
She was born April 29, 1919, in La Harpe, Kan., the daughter of Minnie Marvel Parkhurst and Clarence Chester Pollet. She received her education in Kansas. In 1938 she married Kenneth Crumrine; they were later divorced. She married Logan W. “Bill” Moore in 1957.
Loise worked for J.C. Penney’s for many years before becoming a full-time homemaker.
She was a member of the Rock Club, DOES, Homemaker Club, Widow’s Club and the Southern Baptist Church.
Loise’s hobbies included sewing and rock hunting. She never learned to drive but was an avid walker.
Her husband Bill Moore, son Donald Crumrine and granddaughter Becky preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Patty Crumrine of Medford and Glen and Terry Moore of Meeteetse; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She will be buried next to her husband Bill. Memorials in Loise’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
