The Greybull and Shell volunteer fire departments are planning special fundraisers for the early part of March.

Members of the Greybull Volunteer Fire Department will be going door to door to solicit funds from the community on the evening of Monday, March 10.

The fundraising campaign is an annual event, as is the firemen’s ball scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 8 p.m. to midnight, at the Greybull Elks Lodge.  The Cowley Boys will perform.

Meanwhile, out in Shell, the fire department has announced that its annual Navajo Taco Night is set for Saturday, March 15 starting at 5 p.m. at the Shell Community Hall.

The department is going to hold a ticket raffle for five guns and five Cabela’s gift cards, valued at between $100 and $500.  Tickets are available at Dirty Annie’s or from any member of the Shell Volunteer Fire Department.
