Bobbie Jean Wiley Cloudy, age 78, of Manderson, Wyoming, passed away early Thursday morning, Oct. 9, 2014, at Hot Springs Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Bobbie was born May 26, 1936, at Saint Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Kile Wiley and Hazel Geneva Huff Wiley. Bobbie received her schooling in Manderson, Wyoming, and graduated from high school in Manderson. She received her teaching degree from Eastern Montana College.
Bobbie taught school in Shoshoni, Wyoming, where she met her husband, George. Bobbie married George A. Cloudy on June 13, 1958, in Worland, Wyoming.
She was a world traveler, an avid seamstress, loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them, loved to read and to cook and made friends wherever she went. She was known for her smile and laughter.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sheila Wiley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George A. Cloudy of Manderson, Wyoming; her children, Heather McRoberts and husband, Wayne, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Lisa Cloudy Hudson and husband Kyle of Littleton, Colorado, George A. Cloudy Jr. and wife, Annie, of Sugar Land, Texas, Cheryl Zubieta and husband, Dennis, of Foxfield, Colorado, and Scott Cloudy and wife, Amy, of Parma, Ohio; her siblings, Diane Scalzo and Jack Wiley, both of Gillette, Wyoming and Debra Lynn Paumer of Ogallala, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Basin, Wyoming, with Pastor Kent Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery in Basin.
