Funeral services for Lora May Roundy Heath were held March 2 at the Latter-day Saints Church in Burlington. Lora May, 88, died Feb. 24 at her home in Burlington.
She was born March 27, 1926, in Hurricane, Utah, the daughter of Jesse C. and Nancy Lillian Eager Roundy. She grew up and received her education in Hurricane.
She married Ralph Heath on Jan. 20, 1948, in the St. George, Utah, LDS Temple. The couple lived in Otto until 1973, when they moved to Burlington.
She worked for J.C. Penney’s, as a childcare provider and in her church community.
Lora May enjoyed knitting, crocheting, tatting and reading books. She was a wonderful wife and mother
Her parents, a sister and two brothers, all from Utah, and two daughters, Naomi Heath of Otto and Alice Katherine Bird of Burlington, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Ralph L. Heath of Burlington; three sons, Clyde L. Heath of American Fork, Utah, Nolan D. Heath of Eagle River, Alaska, and Andrew J. Heath of Provo, Utah; three daughters, Roberta A. Bushman of Rainier, Wash., Sara A. Parker of Sulphur, La., and Nancy M. Bennett of Billings, Mont; one brother, Darrell Roundy of Fruitland, N.M. and numerous grandchildren.
