A flurry of donations in the past week, including a $100 bill that was dropped in one of the red, white and blue buckets at the grocery store, has pushed the Greybull Fourth of July fireworks fund drive to $6,446, according to Mayor Myles Foley.

The mayor is urging people to continue donating, as the goal remains to reach $10,000.

One week ago, the fund sat at 3,751.

If you’d like to make a donation, buckets can be found at Blair’s, CC’s Pizza, Mylo’s, Greybull Building Center, Sugar Shack, Big Horn Co-op and NAPA in Greybull and at the Stockman’s Bar, Valley Hardware, the Big Horn County Library and the Big Horn County Clerk’s Office in Basin.
