The filing period for three seats on the Greybull Town Council and a single seat on the Big Horn County Commission is now open.

As of Tuesday, no one had filed for the council openings, which include a pair of four-year terms and a single two-year term. Clay Collingwood, Marquerite Van Dyke and Marvin Hunt are the current council members whose terms expire this year.

There has been some activity at the county level.

Incumbent Jerry Ewen is not seeking reelection.

Rich Fink of Lovell, Chuck Hopkin of Basin and Dave Neves of Burlington had all filed for the vacant seat as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to deputy clerk Annette Dillon.

The filing period for the town and county openings closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 27.
