Timmie Lee Colling, 39, of Basin, Wyo., passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at South Big Horn County Hospital between Basin and Greybull, Wyo.

Tim was employed at Shopko in Greybull, Wyo., where he worked with his wife, Valerie.

Tim is survived by his wife of 18 years, Valerie Lynn (Jenkins) Colling, 38; his son, Tyler Mason Colling, 19, and his fiancé, Skylar Mae Langer, 19; his daughter, Chloe Marie Colling, 14, all of Basin, Wyo.; his mother and step-father, Kasandra and Allen Brewer of Buffalo, Wyo.; his father, Douglas Colling; his grandmother, Betty Colling; his brother and wife, Don and Lee Colling; and his sister and husband, Ashley and Kurt Parr, all of Newark, Ohio; his sister, Brandy Colling of Charleston, West Virginia 8 nephews and 3 nieces.

Tim is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Colling; his grandfather; Franklin Powell; his grandmother, Irene Johnson; his Uncle Terry Colling; his Aunt Brenda Johnson; and his mother-in-law, Carolyn Jenkins.

Tim was born and raised in Newark, Ohio. He met his wife when they were both attending the same vocational school and taking the same program. They started their family in Ohio but later moved to Wyoming. Tim worked in the oil field, before Shopko, where he met lots of wonderful people. The things he loved doing include spending time with his family and friends, camping, hiking, and traveling to visit new places.

Tim was an avid hunter and loved hunting with his father. He loved nature and loved going to the mountains with his family. Tim enjoyed working on vehicles and teaching others various things. Tim was a huge animal lover and was always rescuing animals. He was a great listener and was always helping others in need. Most of all, Tim was the best husband, father, son, and brother to his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and kids.

He will be greatly missed by many people. “Until we meet again, Dear Tim, we will always love you and hold you close in our hearts. Rest in peace knowing we know you are with us always.”—Your loving wife, kids, and family

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, 400 First Avenue North, Greybull, Wyo., with Pastor Cathy Bayert officiating.

Atwood Family Funeral Directors assisted the family with the arrangements.
