Collingwood, Van Dyke won’t face challenge in council reelection bids

Like John King before him, John Koller has declined a write-in nomination to join the race for a four-year term on the Greybull Town Council, meaning there will be just one contested municipal seat on the general election ballot.

That contested race will pit Marvin Hunt, an appointee who is the current holder of the seat, against Bob Graham, the top write-in candidate in the August primary election. The winner will earn a two-year seat on the council, joining Mayor Myles Foley and incumbent Councilman Scott Mattis.

With both King and Koller declining to run, incumbent Clay Collingwood and appointee Marquerite Van Dyke have clear paths to re-election, as they’ll be running unopposed for the two four-year terms on the council.
