The second of four drag racing events this summer at the South Big Horn County Airport is Saturday, July 14.
Organizer Mike Howe said that aside from setting up a different place for the drivers to park, “the plan is going to be about the same” as it was for the highly successful Days of ’49 drags held the second weekend in June.
Howe said he’ll start preparing for race day around 6 a.m. and that tech inspections will follow at 8 a.m. Racing is expected to begin around 10 a.m. and continue until the drivers are ready to call it a day.
Admission fee is $5 for spectators. Kids 12 and under are free.
The final two drag racing events of the year are planned for Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, Aug. 8.
