Walter James Bame

April 10, 1970 – Nov. 11, 2018

Funeral services for Walter James Bame will be held Saturday, Nov. 24 at noon at Grace Southern Baptist  Church in Greybull with Pastor James Scott officiating. Walter, 48, passed away Nov. 11 at his home in Greybull.

He was born April 10, 1970, in Bremerton, Wash., the son of LaVon Walter and Opeal  Simpson Bame. He moved to Greybull in the summer of 1992.

Walter worked for H&P, MI and Wyo-Ben and most recently for Swift Trucking.

He loved to hunt, fish and visit with his friends.

Walter will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and his deep love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, LaVon Walter Bame.

He is survived by a daughter, Kaitlan Bame; his mother, Opeal Bame of Greybull, and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeff and Annette Bame Peebles and Barbara Pusateri.

A memorial in his name has been established at Big Horn Federal in Greybull.
