Per his wishes, no services are planned at this time for Lewis Dunning, 56, who passed away Jan. 31 in Billings, Mont.
Lewis was born Nov. 2, 1962, in San Diego, Calif. He was raised in Greybull by his grandparents, Frank and Helen Dunning. He received his education in Greybull and graduated from Greybull High School in 1980.
Following his graduation he moved to Fort Collins, Colo., where he married Kim Crovisier in 1985. The couple had two children whom Lewis loved very much. The couple later divorced.
Lewis enjoyed working for Woodward Governor for 17 years prior to his car accident and traumatic brain injury in 2002.
Lewis loved the Denver Broncos, music and making people smile. He had a gift of gab and a keen sense of humor. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Helen Dunning and Peggy and Harlen Kindel, and his parents, Jerry Dunning and Linda Kindel.
He is survived by his son Chad Dunning of Fort Collins and his daughter and son-in-law, Alex and Megan Dunning Zollinger of Selma, N.C.; his brother, Jerry Dunning; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy Dunning and Steve and Laura Dunning Sklany; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
