Lance Roy Christopherson, 43, returned home on June 2, 2019. He was born at St. Benedicts in Ogden, Utah, to Rollin Christopherson and Lois Wiberg Christopherson. He was raised and educated in South Ogden at Uintah Elementary and graduated from Washington High School. Lance was a delightful child to raise. He was quick witted and would get you laughing.
He moved to Burlington, Wyo., seven years ago. He loved Wyoming and the Bighorn Basin. Some of his favorite areas were dry hills at Tatman Mountain and the Wood River area above Meeteetse. Lance loved the great outdoors, especially hiking and shooting. One of Lance’s great joys was recording music and he was an accomplished guitar player. Lance worked with stainless steel piping in food plants in most of the western states for many years with his father.
Lance was a kind and generous to all. He helped his neighbors and family generously. He loved animals and was very tender hearted to all creatures. He was very fond of the family dog and all cats that came around looking for food. He always fed the birds leftover food.
He is survived by his four children, Quincy, Collin, Devery and Roxanne; his parents, Rollin and Lois Christopherson; siblings, Vanessa, Eric, Katrina, Tyler and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He loved spending time with his children and made many trips to visit them. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Burlington LDS Church, Saturday June 8, 2019, at 10 a.m. Graveside service and interment at the Meeteetse Cemetery.
