The Greybull Area Chamber of Commerce and the Wyoming Department of Transportation have tacked an additional half hour onto the Thursday, April 5 open house to discuss improvements to downtown streets.
The open house will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the chamber office, according to Sue Anderson, the executive director of the chamber. In an e-mail to chamber members, Anderson said the open house will focus on “strategies for businesses during, and details about, the upcoming construction project.
“The project has been let and they are working out some those details,” wrote Anderson. “We hope to have someone representing the contractor and representatives of WYDOT here to answer questions and make suggestions.”
S&S Builders was awarded the $1.2 million contract during the last meeting of the Wyoming Transportation Commission and the Gillette-based company has until Aug. 31, 2012, to complete the project.
