I have lived here less than a year but have been alarmed at the amount of child predators and abuse I have witnessed and read about. I know every town has it's bad people but I hope we all can pull together and try to make Greybull a safer place for all the children here.

WHat About the People that Have A chance to Change. Do you Hold there position in this life, I know that GOD forgives all that seek his forgiveness. Quit hateing on those and ask The Lord to Blind you from your own Mistakes in life.

Sorry Tiny, but those who prey upon children have a mental illness that will not magically be cured by merely pursuing religion. It is rare that a pedophile or child abuser will "change." Even with chemical castration, pedophiles still have urges, they just can't follow-through on those urges. And, the impact that their abuse has on the entire future of a child is something that is difficult to forgive.

Somehow, your quirky reasoning in your response leads me to believe that you may be an offender yourself. Quit hiding behind God...you are offending God by doing so.

But in recent studies show that 25% of Men out of 100, think about having sex with minors. Yeah maybe people turn to GOD as a reason for others to leave them alone. But what if a person really wanted to change his thinking ang if he is constintly bagered by people like you it could lead to drastic measures that may either hurt you or might hurt themselves. I know by fact that you dont want that on your Conscience. Why would anyone want to go through that emotion.How do you feel about murderring someone? does the thought process change in hateing them too. There are so many crimes out there. 100 years ago there was none of these Laws ans people were doing all sorts of things. Lets also talk about all the Meth-Labs in Wyoming. Its easy for your kids to get caught up in the drug scene. So the "MAIN" Issue is not sex offenders, but Crimes in general. yeah nowadays its not Safe for our children to do anything, but you can't keep them from the world, they have to go through all the headaches as well as we have. And please dont judge people until you get to know them. they might be a good friend to you later on down the road.

It is Gods place to forgive not mine. Child molesters and abusers are not in a position to ask me to forgive them, they need the forgiveness of the children they hurt and they do not deserve it. Everyone does make mistakes and when they do they are held accountable for them.I am not full of hate but I am cautious of people that ask me to forgive people that have no problem preying on our children.
