Cremation has taken place and memorial services for Julie Ann Luce Faith of Basin will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday (today) at the First Baptist Church in Basin. Julie, 43, died April 15 of injuries sustained in a one-car accident between Basin and Greybull.
She was born May 18, 1965, in Jackson, the daughter of James W. Luce and Marilyn D. Smith Hansen. When she was 2 years old, the family moved to Thermopolis, where she received her education.
Julie met and married L.J. Faith at Thermopolis. After the birth of their daughter Zoanna, they moved to Greybull. The couple divorced, but Julie Ann continued to make her home in Greybull. She has been a companion of David Bourne for 21 years.
Julie enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, latch hook and visiting her dear friend Kay Lopp. She recently relocated to Basin.
Her father, James W. Luce, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Zoanna Faith of Cheyenne; her mother, Marilyn Hansen, of Louisiana; stepmother Joan Luce of Thermopolis; one sister, Anna Smith of Worland; brothers, Orvin, Alvin and Ivan Luce, all of Thermopolis; three half-sisters, Dixie, Tina and Desiree, and two half-brothers, Joe and Freddy.
