Coming off their win of the Worland Tournament, the Greybull Majors were positioned for a letdown last week as they returned to regular season action against Otto and Thermopolis.
It didn’t happen.
The Majors avenged their only loss of the season with a 15-4 win over Otto. Zack Zeller was the winning pitcher, while at the plate, the team got four hits from Ryan Sylvester, three from Zeller and Dylan Getzfreid and two from Treston Tracy, Calder Forcella and Dawson Forcella.
The next night, the Majors scored six runs in the first inning and added four more in the second en route to the 19-5 victory over Thermopolis.
The Grizzlies were credited in the scorebook with 20 hits in the three-inning game.
Treston Tracy had four, while Ryan Sylvester, Dante Sylvester and Dylan Getzfreid each had three to pace the Majors.
Dawson Forcella handled the pitching chores for Greybull, giving up just three runs in the first and two in the third while striking out eight.
The Majors will finish the season with a round-robin tournament this weekend in Powell. Games are Friday and Saturday.
