Maxine Meyer
Oct. 30, 1945 - Feb. 21, 2010
A memorial service for Maxine Meyer of Basin will be held Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Lovell. Maxine, 64, died Feb. 21 at her home in Basin.
She was born Oct. 30, 1945, in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of William Melvin and Rosie Lavera Robinson Denniston.  She married Joe Meyer Nov. 20, 1964, in Cody. The couple lived in Wyoming for 45 years and made their home in Basin in 1990.
A loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Maxine was always there when a helping hand was needed. She gave 110 percent of herself and will be dearly missed.
Maxine was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Melvin and Rosie Lavera Denniston; two brothers, Lee Denniston and William Denniston, and a sister, Jessie Krei.
She is survived by her husband Joe of Basin; five children, Melvin Meyer of Greybull, Lavera Grisham and Mark Meyer, both of Basin, Rose Bonilla of Rawlins, and Joanna Schuyler of Powell; two sisters, Ruby Nelson of Worland and Charlotte Hall of Manderson; two brothers, Richard Denniston of Tacoma, Wash. and Ronald Denniston of Manderson; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
