Kevin Allen Jones

Funeral services for Kevin Allen Jones were held March 6 at the LDS Hinckley Chapel in Logandale, Nev. Kevin, 55, died March 2.
He was born April 3, 1954, in Worland, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy Virginia Allen Jones. He was raised on the family farm-ranch in Otto. He filled a mission to Tulsa, Okla., and then returned to Wyoming and continued farming.
He married Susan “Susie” Carol Reynolds on Aug. 8, 1975, in the Idaho Falls Temple.
In 1990, he moved his family to Logandale, Nev., where he worked on Wayne Newton’s ranch. He later was employed as maintenance supervisor for Clark County Parks and Recreation in Logandale.
Kevin developed life-long friendships while serving as a clerk in the Spanish Branch and later as the state executive secretary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kevin could fix anything and loved to paint and build things. He will be remembered as a loving, caring father and grandfather.
His father Kenneth, brother Jeffrey and two children, David and LinDee, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Susie of Logandale; three sons, Jeff of Delta, Utah, Nick of Overton, Nev., and Nathan of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Jenna Rhude of Logandale; his mother, Dorothy Riley of Basin; three brothers, Marlin of Emblem, Kalyn of W. Jordan, Utah, and Lennis of Pleasant Grove, Utah; two sisters, Kengie Hilton of Cedar Hills, Utah, and Shelley Peterson of Billings, and 12 grandchildren.
