Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Keisel is coming home for the Buffalo Roundup — and he wants his visit to be a helpful one for the supporters of the Greybull swimming pool and the Community Outreach thrift store.
Brett, whose wife Sarah swam for Greybull-Riverside, will hold a benefit signing from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 in the GHS cafeteria.
The Keisels have pledged to match all of the money that is taken in during the signing and to donate it all to a fund for the swimming pool.
In addition, they are asking for people to bring nonperishable food items for the Community Outreach thrift store.
During the two-hour signing, Brett will sign memorabilia for $5 per item. Due to time constraints, he will sign no more than four items for any person.
Autographed photos of Brett will be sold for $5 apiece.
He will also be bringing his two Super Bowl rings to the signing for fans who would like to see them.
Raffle tickets will be sold —$5 apiece or five for $20 — for the following items:
• One white, #99 jersey
• One black #99 jersey
• One 3-foot by 4-foot Keisel poster.
The raffle tickets will be sold in advance and at the signing by Big Horn Basin Blue Dolphin team members and Cassie Russell (568-2642). The drawing will be held at the end of the signing.
