The Greybull Town Council on Monday backed away from a proposed ordinance that would have created a half-mile buffer zone around town limits to prevent land uses deemed to be undesirable to the town’s residents.
Ordinance 891, which passed on first reading in February, died with the approval of a motion to decline passage that was supported by Mayor Myles Foley and Councilmen Chris Dooley, Gerald Crist and Jeremy Kottman. Councilman Blaine Jolley was not in attendance.
