Ruth Jones Ledford, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 27, 2022, at her home.

Born on March 14, 1936, in Otto, Wyo., to Mildred and Rulon Jones, Ruth was one of nine children. She was raised in Otto and graduated from Greybull High School in 1954. In the same year, on Aug. 9, she married Bruce Ledford, her beloved husband of 62 years.

Ruth enjoyed gardening, quilting and embroidering. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family. Ruth will remain in our hearts and memories forever. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband Bruce, son Rodney, parents, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, Mike Ledford of Greybull; daughter Teena and Mick LeDuc of Edgewood, N.M., and daughter Veronica and Troy Werbelow of Gillette, Wyo.; one brother, two sisters, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Sept. 1 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at 1016 N. Fifth St. in Greybull, Wyo.
