Greybull High School’s Make-A-Wish campaign is in full swing.
Monday night the floor of the GMS Gym was packed with people sweating to the Latin Beat for a Zumbathon that raised $350 for the campaign, which benefits a 15-year-old boy from Gillette, Jonathan, whose wish is to be famous.
Concession sales at tonight’s Donkey Basketball game will also benefit the Make-A-Wish campaign. The event, a fundraiser for improvements to the Herb Asp Community Center, begins at 7 p.m. in the GMS Gym.
Tickets are available at the customer service counter at Ron’s Food Farm, or at the Greybull Recreation District office. Tickets at the door will cost $8 for adults; $6 for kids grades seven through 12 and $4 per ticket for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Children 4 and under will be admitted free.
GHS has also announced a change in the date of the Make-A-Wish dodgeball tournament. The event will now be held May 13.
