Cremation has taken place and a graveside service for Ina Marie Harvey will be held Friday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Donald J. Ruhl Memorial Cemetery in Greybull. Ina, 102, died Monday at Bonnie Bluejacket Memorial Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Stickney, S.D., the daughter of Jacob Hugh and Cora Brown Bryan. She married Robert A. “Bob” Harvey in 1929. The family moved to Wyoming in 1936, living first in Burlington before moving to a farm on the Greybull River Road. Ina was a rural mail carrier for over 35 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting and quilting, and loved to play cards.
Her husband Bob Harvey; her son Robert LaVerne Harvey; three brothers, LaVerne Bryan, Harold Bryan and Merle Bryan; two sisters, Mary Humeston and Wilma Billers; two grandchildren, Jo Ellen Roehrkasse and Chris Good, and a great-granddaughter, Chandler Roehrkasse, preceded her in death.
Ina is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Frances Swajkoski of Winston-Salem, N.C., Lucille Roehrkasse of Laramie, and John and Marlys Good of Greybull; one sister, Hazel Drake of Hillsboro, Ore.; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
