Greybull High School is in the midst of its annual Homecoming week and will crown its king and queen at halftime of Friday night’s game between the Buffs and the visiting Lyman Eagles.
Candidates for king include Elias Ewen, Brent Medlin and Dawson Forcella.
Jordan Flitner, Mara Welsh and Elisa Miotto are the queen candidates.
Attendants include freshmen Payten Sorensen and Elian Davila, sophomores Jennifer Hernandez-Rios and Kevin Nevarez and juniors Jayden Stebritz and Sonny Aguilar.
“Plow Your Way to Victory” is this year’s Homecoming theme.
Businesses are encouraged to decorate their storefronts and to enter a float in the parade, which will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30.
The Burning of the G will take place tonight (Thursday, Sept. 29) after the volleyball match between the Greybull Buffs and the Riverside Rebels. The annual Pink Game, it’ll be played in Basin, with matches at 4, 5 and 6 p.m.
Other homecoming activities on Friday, in addition to the parade, include a community tailgate party starting at 5 p.m., volleyball matches against Shoshoni at 3, 4 and 5 p.m., the football game at 7 p.m. and the homecoming dance at 9:30 p.m. in the GMS Gym.
