Pam Dellos has been working at the Basin Republican Rustler office on C Street since 1986. After almost 40 years of service, outlasting seven or eight editors, she will retire at the end of the month.

Winter Festival brings families together

While no one took an exact count, many people came to the fairgrounds on Saturday for the annual Winter Festival. About 75 meals of chili, cookies and a drink were served by members of the fair board. The chili, made by Dominque and Tucker McKim, was a hit. The ingredients for the chili were donated by Spear D Ranch, The Market, and Basin’s Market. Pepsi/Admiral Beverage and Country Bakery provided drinks and cookies.

Extension to offer private pesticide applicator program
