Community says farewell to McMillan

It was Feb. 14. Steve and Keli Hoblit, Scott and I were enjoying a dinner at Lisa’s when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and there was Christine McMillan.  She gave me a hug and then, with some tears. told me she was moving to Powell and she wanted me to know before I heard it elsewhere.

In sharing Christine McMillan’s story with our readers, we did not emphasize the blessings she and Michael shared with this community.  They furnished the music for countless memorials and funerals, with Michael on the guitar as the two harmonized beautifully on songs of faith.

Lady Buffs put it all together

A big congratulations to Coach Jeff Hunt and his Lady Buffs.  In what must have been the three closest games played at the 2A State Tournament in Casper, the Lady Buffs brought home the consolation trophy. They were one of just four teams to get a trophy.
