With their playoff destinies on the line and emotions running high, it was a “peanut punch,” of all things, that helped Greybull defeat Rocky Mountain 22-14 and seize control of the Class 1A West Conference race Friday night.
Another season of intramural football came to an end Saturday under the lights of Jim Crawford Field, where the Greybull and Basin third, fourth and fifth graders battled their counterparts from Cowley.
The Buffs’ annual Pink Night game versus Riverside raised $1,800 for recent Greybull High School graduate Wyatt Didrickson last Tuesday, extending their long “volley for the cure” legacy.
