Chamber’s lighting contest extended to business entries

The Greybull Area Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor its holiday decorating contest, this year with separate categories for homes and businesses. 

The goal is to make Greybull a winter wonderland and have fun doing it. The chamber will award $300 cash for the top residential entry, $200 for second and $100 for third place. Businesses will have the chance to win $200, $125 or $75 prizes. 

The contest is open to anyone within Greybull’s town limits. Entrants must sign up by Monday, Dec. 15 by calling Town Clerk Hailey Winkler at 307-765-9431. 

Six student council members, two from each of Greybull’s schools, have been invited to judge the business category, with select chamber members set to judge the residential. 

Judging will take place Dec. 18-20.
