Otto Minors defeat Lovell Braves Majors fall to Lovell Dodgers

The Otto Rattlers Minor League squad remain undefeated after defeating the Lovell Braves 11-8 Thursday in Lovell. Claire Philpott and Kellen Winters each had a hit against Lovell. Colin Haslam, Ava Wennberg and Winters each scored two runs in the game. Quaid Houchin pitched one inning, allowing six runs on four hits, walking five and striking out three

Lovell batters. Haslam pitched two innings, allowing two runs, issuing two walks and fanning two batters.

The Minor League team defeated Greybull twice earlier in the season before defeating Lovell to remain undefeated at 3-0. The Major League squad fell to Lovell 11-1. Taft Winters, Paxton Philpott and Bitner Philpott each had a hit against Lovell. Paxton Philpott scored the lone run for Otto. The Otto Minors faced the Lovell Braves again Tuesday at home and the Otto Majors faced the Lovell Cardinals.
