Who would think that those seven words would bring down the wrath of anyone who heard the details of the tragic death of innocent elementary students who were celebrating the first Mass of a new school year. The church was naturally right next door to their elementary school.

Discovery of old dictionary evokes fond memories

For graduating seniors, it’s into the workforce or on to a trade school or college. But for one graduate, after a summer filled with work, it is a different trip. For Steele, the son of Kari and Dalen Davis, Jr., it is the beginning of his dream of serving his country. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and is currently in boot camp in Colorado.
