I received this email from friend Tina Spragg, it brought so many memories back; memories I had not thought of for years. I read it once, I read it twice, and thought what wonderful memories to share with Greybull Standard readers.  I hope you readers enjoy this as much as I did and it brings back Days of ‘49 memories for you as well. I just hope Tina is not angling to take over my job! 

How it used to be

I have spent a lot of time this week talking with people about how things used to be. That tends to come up when a big anniversary, like Greybull’s Days of ‘49, rolls around.

Scams are becoming more common across the country, and small communities like ours are not immune. In fact, scammers often target areas like ours because people are more trusting and willing to help others.

From the story in Genesis 1 God created human beings in his own image. Man and woman were one spiritual being: male and female. God who is a spirit (John 4:24 God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.) met with his human being in his spirit form in the evenings in the cool of the day for conversation.

On graduation and flying

This year’s seniors had one of the busiest schedules leading up to their graduation May 17. In 12 days, they had “danced the night away” at the annual junior prom.  This was followed by the regional track meet in Shoshoni the 14th and 15th. Then graduation.  But the 38 seniors didn’t seem fazed.
