MOBILE FOOD PANTRY

Food Bank of Wyoming Mobile Food Pantry distributions on second Saturdays, 11 a.m., Big Horn County Fairgrounds in Basin. Volunteers welcome.

GRIEF SHARE

The Grief Share support group meets Mondays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Basin First Baptist Church.

Town-wide yard sale, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call Greybull Town Hall at 307-765-9431. The last day to sign up will be Wednesday, May 27 at 5 p.m., Maps will be available at the Town Hall Friday, May 29.

Friday, June 5

Lilac Days Friday night events starting at 5:30 p.m. held at Basin Heritage Commons on the southeast corner of Fourth and C Streets in Basin. Food for purchase, Basin mural ribbon cutting, time capsule, music. 

Saturday, June 6

Lovell-Kane Museum bus tour, call (307) 548-2396 to sign up. 

Lilac Days in Basin starting at 9 a.m. with 5K run/walk in Washington Park, registration at 8:30 a.m. Free breakfast at 9:30 a.m., bike rodeo 10 a.m., Lilac Princess contest 11:15 a.m. and more.

Days of ‘49 Gun Show at Greybull rec center, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Main parade, main street, 10:30 a.m., classic car parade to follow.  Car Show, main street, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids rodeo at Greybull rodeo grounds, 2 p.m., enter at 1:30 p.m. Burnout competition, west side of main street, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Live music stoplight band “Blackwater” 8 p.m.

Church services at Greybull City Park, 10:30 a.m. Flag ceremony at Greybull baseball fields, noon.
