Terrell Jerup

No services will be held for Terrell “Terry” Chris Jerup, 74, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, in Riverton, Wyo.

Terry was born December 24, 1951, in Greybull, Wyo., to Harry E. and Violet L. Jerup. He was raised in Shell, Wyo., where he attended elementary school, and later completed his schooling in Greybull. Following his education, Terry lived in Worland, Wyo., before making Riverton his home in 1988.

Terry had a deep appreciation for Wyoming and the outdoors. He enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, hunting, and fishing, and treasured the time spent in the mountains and open country. He retired from 71 Construction following a long career with the company.

Above all, Terry was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for the life he lived and the memories he leaves behind.

Survivors include his sons, Mikel Troy Jerup of Bondurant, Wyo., and Christopher Wayne Jerup; daughters, Melissa Marie Bissen of Westminster, Md., and Janita Leigh Ethridge of Reno, Nev.; sister, Patty Tyrell of Shell, Wyo.; and grandchildren, Blake Bissen, Faith Bissen, Lily Ethridge, Brynlee Jerup, and Weston Jerup.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, June Clifton and Joyce Ellison.
