La Chimera

As a full disclosure, I wrote about 500 words about the actual business of filmmaking, which has been my bread and butter, and absolute passion, for the past decade, before realizing that I should reel it in — do you get the joke? — and focus on the real reason you read this column, which I don’t actually know, but assume is not that.
