A team of majors all-stars from the South Big Horn Little League captured three wins in four starts last week at an interleague tournament in Powell and Lovell.
AFter pool play wins over the Powell Cubs on June 10 and the Powell Orioles on June 11, the Bandits proceeded to knock off the Lovell Reds, 13-3 on June 12 before stumbling against the Lovell Rockies, 12-4, in one of the semifinal games played June 13.
The all-star team, which features a mix of players from the Big Horn Federal and The SHACK regular season teams, will take a 3-1 record into this weekend’s Stars and Stripes tourney.
Quaide Houchin and Marshall Brown powered the Bandits to their opening round win, limiting the Reds to just six hits over four innings in the 13-3 triumph. They fanned seven along the way.
