Sheriff McMillan returned yesterday from Cheyenne where he had been called as a witness in the case against Mrs. C.W. Shomes and P. Tucker. They were charged with possession of liquor at the Alamo Hotel and destroying evidence.

With the aid of EPA funds, the city will drill wells for surface water to augment the present water supply. Realizing that the city’s water supply is endangered, city fathers sought to remedy the situation.
Mrs. A.S. Wilson late last week purchased the Le Bon Marche shop of Mrs. E.G. Carlson, and has already taken active charge. Mrs. Wilson will operate an up-to-date ladies ready-to-wear-shop.
