Allen Clarence Beckhoff

Allen Clarence Beckhoff, 81, of Greybull, Wyo., passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at Cody Regional Health Center.

Allen was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Alliance, Neb., to Kenneth and Dorothy Beckhoff. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1962. He attended Nebraska Vocational Technical School in Milford, Neb., completing his machinists certificate in 1963, and Western Nebraska Technical College in Sidney, Neb., earning an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology and obtaining an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics license in 1987.  

On Nov. 20, 1964, he married Earline Gramberg at the First Presbyterian Church in Alliance, Nebraska. They were married sixty-one years.

Allen spent many years working as a machinist, working multiple jobs on the CB&Q (later Burlington Northern) Rail Road, and farming.  He is most remembered for being an aircraft mechanic with a love for airplanes and aviation.  Allen never knew a stranger and was always quick to welcome pilots passing through Greybull and offer help to those in need.

Allen is survived by his wife, Earline; his children, Deanna Beckhoff of Greybull, Laurie Mikus (Tim) of Greybull, and Michael Beckhoff (Avery) of Casper; two grandchildren, Robbin and Megan, and three great-grandchildren, Zoe, Mataya, and  Jameson.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Beckhoff.
