The house belonging to Grover Martin on Fifth Avenue North caught fire Wednesday afternoon and was completely destroyed. Mrs. Martin was sewing at a neighbors across the street and happened to look out the window and see the house ablaze. Mr. Martin was working at the refinery and she called him to give the fire alarm.
Notice is hereby given to homeowners who want to make an application for shade trees and plant them and care for them along the parkways.

James Emmett, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Emmett, cranked a truck that he thought was out of gear Tuesday. But it wasn’t, and when the truck started, the machine crawled up the sidewalk and crashed into the Greybull Standard.
