The mayoral race in Greybull features a matchup of the four-term incumbent in Myles Foley and the town’s former police chief in Bill Brenner.
Foley was elected to the council in 2012, won his first bid for mayor in 2014 and was re-elected in 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Brenner spent 16 years as the Greybull police chief, retiring in January 2023.
The primary is simply the appetizer, as both candidates are assured of advancing to the November general election ballot.
