Girl Scout cookie sales begin

Girl Scout Troop 1212 members began their annual cookie sales campaign on Friday, Feb. 2.
“We are in our seventh cookie season and we want to thank the community for supporting our troop,” said Chrystal Rhodes, the troop leader. “It’s been amazing what these girls have accomplished.”
Troop 1212 is five members strong.  Bonnie and Ruby, who are continuing, welcomed Bridgette, Jordyn and  Zoey, which allowed Troop 1212 to take it back to the beginning with Daisy and Brownie Scouts.
“We are halfway thru this term and they have had a lot of fun,” said Rhodes. “There are still open spots for those interested.”
Troop 1212 is urging customers to make sure it’s Troop 1212 placing their orders so there isn’t any confusion with deliveries. Each scout will identify herself by first name only and troop number.
