GMS claims relay wins in Shoshoni

Greybull Middle School athletes won two relays in the junior high division at Saturday’s Shoshoni Junior High Invitational.

The sprints continue to be a strong suit for GMS, which swept the 400-meter relays thanks to the efforts of Amelia Emmett, Reagan Vigil, Ella Keisel and Josephine Boyer in the girls and Baron Eichelberger, Triston Gross, Cody Myers, Siul Valdez-Rodriguez in the boys.

As a team, GMS notched its best finish in the youth boys division, where it scored 39 points and trailed only Lander, Worland and Riverton.  The junior high boys ranked sixth with 33 points, behind Worland, Cody, Powell, Lander and Thermopolis.

Among the girls, GMS ranked eighth in the junior high division with 24 points and 18th in the youth division with eight points.
