This weekend marks the end of the regular season for the Lady Buffs. After falling to Rocky Mountain 49-22 in Cowley last Friday, they hosted Wind River Saturday and played a much better game but fell to the Lady Cougars, 60-48.
The Buffs started out playing pretty good ball at Cowley, trailing 11-7 at the first quarter break. But things went sideways after that. Rocky scored in double digits in all four quarters, while Greybull was having trouble getting any shots to fall.
“We did a good job making them take outside shots and worked hard early on the boards,” said Coach Jeff Hunt. “The second quarter was the killer for us. We just couldn’t get anything going and we did not shoot well. We did a much better job breaking their press, but our shots just didn’t fall.”
Kennedy Craft scored 11 points.
