A look back at original Leavitt Reservoir project

Seventy years after the Leavitt Reservoir was first built, the 643 acre-feet irrigation supply is expected to balloon to 6,604 acre-feet through a new expansion project. As the 2025 construction season wraps up, the Leavitt family has shared the original 1955-56 construction report with the Standard, highlighting the massive changes the Shell Valley feature will undergo.
