Trump is the candidate opposed to retribution, fear

Dear editor:

This is in response to last week’s letter from the 5th generation Wyoming Republican from Casper, Jim Skovgard, who says he is opposed to the politics of retribution, misinformation and fear. Then, incomprehensibly, he says he is opposed to Donald Trump, the politician who is also opposed to the politics of retribution, misinformation and fear.

It looks like he didn’t find any allies in Casper, so he is looking for them here in Big Horn County. He is looking in the wrong county, wrong state, and wrong party.  A few days ago, some Christians attended a Harris rally and shouted, “Jesus is Lord.” Kamala shouted, “You guys are at the wrong rally.”  She then told them where to go to find other Christians — at a Trump rally.

Mr. Skovgard will not find supporters in Wyoming.  Like all of us here, Donald Trump is opposed to retribution, misinformation and fear, and also to anti-antisemitism, illegal immigration, inflation, war, lawlessness, wasteful government spending, pornography in children’s classrooms and two-tiered justice.  Unlike the other candidates, he supports women’s rights, including the right to fairness in sports, and privacy in restrooms and dressing rooms. He supports energy independence, peace, prosperity, free speech, free press, freedom of religion, the right to peaceably assemble, the right to bear arms and parents’ rights to educate their children.

Mr. Skovgard, I think you are attending the wrong rally.
