Police Report

Sept. 15 — 5:24 p.m.: An officer investigated property damage at Sixth Avenue North and North Sixth Street.

Sept. 17 — 7:11 a.m.: Dogs at large on North Sixth Street were reported.

10:35 a.m.: An officer initiated activity at milepost 205 on North Sixth Street.

Sept. 18 — 9:31 a.m.: The GPD received a noise complaint from North Sixth Street.

10:23 a.m.: The GPD received a traffic complaint from a North Sixth Street address.

3:40 p.m.: An officer investigated suspicious mail received on Fourth Avenue North.

10:23 p.m.: A fight in progress at the Silver Spur was reported, but no one in the bar knew anything about it when the responding officer arrived.

Sept. 19 — 8:06 a.m.: A woman on 14th Avenue North reported finding two dogs on her property.

8:23 a.m.: An officer assisted another agency with an irritated male at the Big Horn County Attorney’s Office.

6:35 p.m. Two dogs were found on North Seventh Street.

8:46 p.m.: A dog was found on Lane 33.

11:34 p.m.: An officer assisted another agency at MI SWACO on Lane 33.

Sept. 20 — 2:38 a.m.: A wildlife encounter was reported near the intersection of Greybull Avenue and North Sixth Street.

3:15 p.m.: A civil standby was provided at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office in Basin.

4:05 p.m.: A suspicious person was reported at the Greybull city park.

4:15 p.m.: An officer performed community relations at the high school.

4:26 p.m.: The GPD provided assistance at the high school, where someone had a question regarding mini-bikes in town.

5:09 p.m.: Dogs at large near the A&W restaurant were reported.

Sept. 20: 10 p.m.: Lindsay Pearl Lynn was arrested on a federal warrant in the 300 block of Second Avenue South.

Sept. 21 — 8 a.m.: A property damage accident was reported at the Maverik Country Store.  A driver had backed into and knocked over one of the town’s new light poles.

9:25 a.m.: A dog at large on South Fourth Street was reported.

5:37 p.m.: An officer provided assistance at the GPD.

7:16 p.m.: Colten Douglas Shirran was arrested in the 400 block of Greybull Avenue after his bond was revoked.

7:54 p.m.: Dogs at large near the Wheel’s Motel were reported.

9:41 p.m.: A larceny at Mini Miracles was reported.  Police are investigating, but unsure what, if anything, was taken.

Sheriff’s Report 

Sept. 15 – 9:27 a.m.: Officers assisted Greybull Department of Family Services on Lane 53. 

9:57 a.m.: A caller reported livestock on their property on Highway 20 South in Basin. 

1:24 p.m.: Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office assisted Sheridan County with livestock on the roadway near Dayton. 

Sept. 16 – 7:03 a.m.: A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported on Highway 32 in Emblem.

Sept. 17 -- 2:07 p.m.: A R.E.D.D.I report was made on a red semi-truck “all over the road” on Highway 20 South in Manderson. 

3 p.m.: A traffic complaint was made on Lane 46 in Basin. 

4:35 p.m.: An officer assisted Department of Family Services at Riverside Middle High School on West B Street in Basin. 

9:19 p.m.: A black cow was reported loose near Highway 20 South in Basin. 

Sept. 18 -- 3:51 p.m.: A truck vs. sedan accident was reported on Greybull River Road in Greybull. 

10:23 p.m.: A fight was reported at Silver Spur Bar on Greybull Avenue in Greybull. 

5:35 p.m.: A citation was issued at a traffic stop in Greybull. 

8:46 p.m.: A dog was reported found on Lane 33 in Greybull. 

Sept. 20 – 2:38 a.m.: A wildlife encounter was reported at Greybull Avenue and North Sixth Street in Greybull. 

10:04 a.m.: A child was reportedly unrestrained in a moving vehicle on Highway 20 South in Greybull. 

11:31 a.m.: Officers assisted Greybull Police Department on 14th Avenue North in Greybull. 

12:01 p.m.: An officer assisted Highway Patrol on Highway 30 in Otto. 

4:05 p.m.: An officer participated in community relations at Greybull High School on North Sixth Street in Greybull. 

4:06 p.m.: An officer assisted Greybull Police Department at Greybull City Park on South Second Street in Greybull. 

6:50 p.m.: A fire alarm was reported on East Wyoming Avenue in Basin, found to be a false alarm. 

7:27 p.m.: Basin Police Department received assistance at Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office on Murphy Street in Basin. 

9:34 p.m.: An officer assisted Greybull Police Department at their office on South Fifth Street in Greybull. 

9:56 p.m.: A dog bite was reported on West B Street in Basin. 

10:48 p.m.: Officers assisted Basin Police Department at Three Rivers Health on Highway 20 South in Basin. 

Sept. 21 – 1:27 a.m.: An officer assisted the public at Hyattville Bar on Main Street in Hyattville.

3:33 p.m.: Suspicious circumstances were reported on Lane 38 in Burlington, found clear. 

5:20 p.m.: South Big Horn County Search and Rescue responded to a case of potential altitude sickness at Battle Park on Forest Service Road 24. 

7:26 p.m.: An officer assisted Highway Patrol on Highway 30 in Otto. 

10:14 p.m.: Harassment was reported on West E Street in Basin. 

10:35 p.m.: An officer assisted Basin Police Department on West E Street in Basin. 

11:37 p.m.: A vehicle was reportedly broken into and bows stolen from it on Forest Service Road 17.
