Beverly was born Nov. 4, 1931, to parents Frederick Harry Julian and Ethel Frances Parslow in Kemmerer, Wyo. Born into a pioneering ranch family, she spent her childhood on the ranch and attended many small county schools. Later she became an alumnus of the University of Wyoming and was a supporter of many of the university’s activities and events.
Beverly met and married Keith Peter Gamble on May 25, 1952, in Cokeville, Wyo., and they remained married until his death in 2005. Beverly and Keith had three sons, Ryan, Glen, and Fred. She was a teacher in various school systems around the state of Wyoming for 23 years.
Robert Earl (Bob) Hallcroft Sr. of Evansville, Wyo., was welcomed into Heaven's gates Aug. 8, 2023, at the age of 82 after a hard-fought battle following a brief illness.
Carl Theodore (Ted) Zier passed away peacefully early Monday morning, July 31, 2023 at the age of 67. Ted was born Feb. 13, 1956 to Rose M. (Olind) Zier and Fred Zier of Hardin, Mont. He spent his childhood in the Crow Agency area with siblings Dori (Arntz), Rick Zier and Brenda (Fenner) and graduated from Hardin High School in 1974. After high school, Ted joined his brother Rick, traveling the country becoming an accomplished bull rider. He was the Montana Pro Rodeo Finals Average Champion in 1979.
Dawn Beverly Olson passed away in the early morning of May 26, 2023, at home in her house above the Big Horn River in Greybull, Wyo.
She was born in 1932 in Shelby, Mont., to Estella and Barack Van Winkle. They and her brother Lynn preceded her in death. After living in Bozeman, they moved to Greybull when she was 9. She attended school in Greybull and was valedictorian of the class of 1950.
She married Donald H. Olson after graduation and moved to a place north of Greybull where they lived until moving to the Greybull Heights in 1999. Dawn worked at the Bank of Greybull in the accounting department followed by over 20 years at Pacific Power and Light Company.
Dawn was an accomplished painter. She loved to play bridge and Yahtzee. Sunday afternoons playing Hand and Foot with her friends was one of her joys.
